On April 2, 2024, HSEL Executive Director Luis Bautista and Blind Children’s Center CEO Sarah Orth provided testimony to the Assembly Human Services Committee regarding AB 1925, a bill authored by Speaker Emeritus Anthony Rendon to waive the General Child Care and Development program’s need criteria for families of infants and toddlers with disabilities.
