The parade starts at E. Cesar Chavez and Mednik Ave.
The East LA Mexican Independence Day Parade & Festival is an annual celebration of Mexican culture and history. The first parade was held in 1946, produced and managed by Comite Mexicano Civico Patriotico, and it has become a beloved tradition in the East Los Angeles area. As the largest Mexican Independence Day celebration in the United States, we strive to honor our community’s history and culture while bringing together friends and family to celebrate our heritage.
