At the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), we receive funding from the Administration for Children and Families, Department of Health and Human Services, and the State of California. With multiple funding sources fiscal management and responsibility are essential.

The Fiscal Controls and Accountability (FCA) Unit oversees funding within LACOE and across our agencies. The unit is divided into four teams:

  • Fiscal Monitoring: Monitors agency programs
  • Budget: Monitors LACOE budget and processes agency budget requests
  • Facilities: Monitors agency sites to ensure safety of children
  • Supply Room: Processes and delivers equipment and supply requests
