The LACOE training, professional development, and technical assistance approaches are designed to support quality services for children and families. We offer workforce development and professional learning (WDPL) opportunities for your staff to achieve this. Our team can help you implement your training plan and provide the resources to support professional growth. Just fill out the Training/Professional Development Request Form or Technical Assistance Request Form, and we can help you design, deliver, and evaluate a plan in one of three areas:

• Category I – Mandated Training
• Category II – Program Quality Improvement Training
• Category III – Program Enhancement Training

Our team can help you with implementing your training and provide resources to support your professional growth.

Please be guided by the following:

• Training/Professional Development: Training refers to formal virtual or in-person training for groups of staff and/or parents. The purpose of structured training is to establish a foundation of content (knowledge). The elements of demonstration and practice will be embedded.
• Technical Assistance (TA): TA refers to a 1:1 version of the training. TA sessions will be conducted at a location that is conducive to the application of content demonstration, practice, and skill building. TA can be delivered to an individual or groups of staff.  Fill out the Training Professional Development Request Form or Technical Assistance request form.
