Summer is around the corner and it’s a perfect time to support families in their important work as their child’s first teacher. Quality Start LA (QSLA) promotes summer learning in the home and reinforces early learning skills through investigation, critical thinking, imagination, and meaningful family experiences. The QSLA website has many resources, from family calendars to booklists and finding ways to support a child’s early learning and healthy development.
Each month, QSLA compiles both online and in-person early learning activities to help families support their child’s growth and development in fun and interesting ways! Resource topics include Early Literacy, Early Math, Child Growth & Development, Family Health & Community, and a Bilingual Family Calendar that connects families across Los Angeles County to other families and relevant community resources.
